Who We Are
The Rural Wellington OHT is a gathering of community partners committed to providing a stronger, more connected health care experience.
Under the new Ontario Health Teams, health care providers (including hospitals, doctors and home and community care providers) work as one coordinated team - no matter where they provide care. The Rural Wellington OHT will work to improve the way our residents navigate through our health care system, will bring electronic access for those who wish to have services available electronically, and explore what the rural-specific needs are for our patients and providers, and how we can better serve patients and improve health outcomes for the entire population.
Partnership is a key component of successful rural health care.
