The CSMC physicians work with Mount Forest Family Health Team to provide comprehensive primary care to people living in and around the Township of Wellington North and Southgate. The Reception position works in a team setting supporting Physicians and patients in a clinical setting to provide care, promote health, prevent illness and manage chronic disease.

The position is best suited to an individual with:

• Good communication and customer service skills both written and verbal to effectively interact

• The ability to coordinate information received from multiple allied health professionals including following up with referrals for more information, scheduling appointments, collecting pre-assessment information from patients and other tasks as assigned

• Proficient computer skills; with a knowledge of navigating online platforms

• Answering incoming calls from patients

• The ability to provide support to a variety of people at the same time

• Knowledge of medical terminology and the Health Care System

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (P.S. Suite an asset)

• An ability to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and time management/priority skills

• Hours of work 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

• Successful candidate must have proof of COVID vaccination or exemption of vaccination. CSMC follows all guidelines and rules under the Human Rights Act Ontario.

• Preference will be given to candidates with 3+ years' experience working in Family Practice, Primary Healthcare or another similar position.

This role is permanent full time position.
